Introductions to Crafting
Crafting is the art form of creation. Your character can craft all kinds
of things within the game depending on which professions they learn.
Your character can learn whichever profession you desire regardless of
their class. Furthermore, upon selecting a profession, your character
will come to increase the profession’s skill as they craft items. At
certain level intervals, you will be required to complete several tasks
assigned by the Master of the Union of Craftsmen. With the profession
skills, your character will be able to collect resource items scattered
throughout the land of Fragoria. Resources are paramount for recipes.
The Union of Craftsmen
-
Master of the Union of Craftsman
-
Head of professions:
-
Head of Forest Rangers
-
Head of Magicians
-
Head of Ore Miners
-
Head of Tanners
Forest Ranger, specializes in the use of wood and grass
Magician, specializes in the use of "miraculous" resources, resins and liquids.
Ore Miner, specializes in mining ores and minerals and precious stones
Tanner, specializes in the use of teeth, skins and organs of animals.
Getting profession training:
To start learning your first profession, you need to decide which
profession you desire to learn. You will find the Union of Craftsmen
in Fragoville near the Wizard of Tartar. Approach the master of the
desired profession and receive a quest where you need to get a License
of Profession. Next, contact the Master of the Union of Craftsman for
the license. He will give you a quest that requires seeing the Blacksmith
Vsevolod in the Blacksmith House in Fragoville to collect some tools in
order to receive the Patent for the First Profession. Heading back to the
Master of the Union of Craftsmen, you will receive the needed License.

Each tool has 3 varieties in term of quality (White, Blue, and Purple).
Every tool has a durability count, which decreases every time it is used.
Tools can be repaired the same way as ordinary items are repaired.
Only ordinary tools can be purchased from the masters of professions.
Tempered and enchanted resources are found in the Shops to be bought
with emeralds.
In addition, there are automated tools (enchanted) that are useful for
the collection of large deposits – enough to continue to work automatically
until no slots are open in your backpack or until you cancel.
Levels of Professions
Each profession has a training skill bar that indicates your experience
with that particular profession. Your experience increases gradually while
you collect resources. When you reach a certain level of experience, there
will be a special quest where you will be asked to gather a complicated
list of resources to get a second Patent of Profession where you can take
on a second profession of your choice.
Benefits of Being Experienced With A Given Profession
-
Recipes may have a level of experience that you are required to have
before you can successfully craft such an item.
-
A high experience level will increase the chance of a successful
extraction of valuable resources and decreases the amount of scraps and
other unusable junk.
-
A high experience level gives you a better chance to find rare resources.
-
The Union of Craftsmen may grant you limited access to services /
discounts / recipes if you are not experienced enough in your chosen
profession
Resources
Resources are special materials collected from the land of Fragoria or
extracted from animals in the case of a Tanner. It requires the possession
of a tool corresponding to the profession needed to gather the resource.
Each profession has their own specific resource varieties to collect and
cannot use another profession’s tool nor can they collect another
profession’s resources. Examples of resources are the ore extracted from
copper nodes or worn leather taken from a dead werewolf.
Fields Resources
Field resources can be identified by putting the mouse cursor on a resource.
A box of information about the resource will appear:
-
Name
-
Profession, Experience needed
-
Tool required
The deposits are scattered throughout the land and reappear some time after
they were gathered. If a particular field resource is touched or collected
partially, it will disappear after awhile and reappear in full form later.
The deposits are located according to the resource type - Ore is mined near
rocks and hills, Trees are cut down in wooded areas, Grass is found in
fields, etc.
Contents Of A Deposit
-
Useful resources.
-
Garbage (the ratio of garbage and useful resources varies depending on
your level of experience with your profession).
-
A rare resource (the chance of finding these increase as you become more
experienced with your profession).
Types of Deposits
Deposits are categorized by the amount of resources that they carry and the
frequency in which they are found.
Small deposits are scattered throughout the land of Fragoria and are more
common to find.
Rich deposits are found in Carawan Way; you are more likely to find rare
resources from these as well as being able to find more useful resources.
Identifying the Location of Resources
The resources of each profession are labeled with their own icon on the
minimap:
-
in case of Rangers
-
in case of Magicians
-
in case of Miners
Deposit Levels
Some deposits are easier to find than others and some deposits require a
certain experience level to even be able to extract resources from them.
Recipes
Recipes outline the amount of resources that you need to craft a certain
item and shows your character how to go about crafting the item. Example
of Recipes: portals, potions with temporary stat boosts , pet related
potions, ammunition, etc.
Examples of Possible Requirements
-
Resources mentioned in the recipe.
-
Improving Gems (white colored recipes do not require them except those
that create rare resources).
-
A specific experience level may be required
-
A specific reputation level with the Union of Craftsmen may be required.
-
Using a specific craftsman table may be required.
