Belongings
The loot or the rewards from completing quests are usually not enough to
get by in the world of Fragoria. Characters need to buy weapons, potions
and armor as well as new skills and spells. In addition, during your
adventure your equipment’s durability will degrade which requires repairing
at a blacksmith. It is always a good idea to visit a blacksmith and repair
whenever you are in town to avoid having your equipment break in the field
of battle.
Packs
Many things such as arrows, quest items, potions and most grey items can be
added into packs of several pieces in order to save bag space. The
maximum size of the stack depends on the item being stacked. Using the
Shift key, packs can be divided into smaller stacks of required
numbers. This is especially handy when you want to share things like
potions with party members but you don’t want to give them all away, or
when you don’t want to sell the entire pack at an auction house and want
to sell just a portion of it.
To split a stack of items into two, hold down Shift and drag the
pack to another cell. A window will appear where you will be asked to
specify the number of items that you want to move into a new stack.
Item Display In Chat
Items in the game can be displayed in the chat box so that other players
can see the statistics of the item as well as descriptions and the rarity
of the item by its color.
-
To display an item in the chat, open an input line, press the
Shift key and then click on the item you want to display
from your backpack or character window.
Item Level
Items, like characters, have levels too. Your character cannot wear items
with levels greater than their own. This is referred to as a level
requirement that is shown on the item itself. The categories of equipment
that your character can use each have designated level requirements in a
pattern-like format:

Item Parameters
Equipment at green or above in quality improve one or more statistics of
your character. An item’s suffix is determined by the statistic that it
gives as follows:

An experienced player who sees a Student belt of strength can
understand that this is an item that requires a level of 1 that increases
strength just by looking at the name of the item and not any of its stats.
Test your knowledge and figure out this item just by its name:
Military robe of reason – This is an item of that requires a level
of 58 to use that increases intellect.
The suffix on each item is selected randomly when found and stays
with that item forever.
Player must choose carefully when outfitting their character. You should
be focusing on statistics that benefit your class. For example, Warriors
will favor items with strength, endurance and
dexterity, but not spirit and mobility.

Quality of Items
The quality of an item is determined by the color of its name. Usually this
will also indicate the rarity of the item. Experienced players will
usually have items of higher quality. If a character has a high quality
item that they cannot make use of or if it is not needed, it is a good idea
to sell it at the auction house. Selling items at the auction house rather
than selling items to an NPC will usually yield more gold. The different
qualities of items are as follows:
-
Grey - Reserved for garbage and items that have very
little or no value. Quest items can also be grey.
-
White - Reserved for the simplest armors and
weapons which have only the amount of armor that it gives you
and/or its damage output.
-
Green - Besides armor and damage, they improve
two basic stats on your character when equipped. For example,
strength +2, spirit +2. These items can be obtained from monsters and
from the auction house. Green items are found not only for the
character's use, but also for their companion pet's use too.
-
Blue - Besides armor and damage, they improve two
basic stats on your character and have 1 special effect. For example,
strength +2, spirit +2, +1% to critical damage with magic. Such items
can be obtained from elite monsters and the auction house. Blue items
are found not only for the character's use, but also for your
companion pet’s use too.
-
Gold - Besides items besides armor and damage,
they influence two basic stats of the character and have two
special effects.
-
Purple - Besides armor and damage, they improve
two basic stats of the character and have two special effects. Purple
items can usually be obtained by bosses.
-
Orange - Besides armor and damage, they improve
three basic stats of the character and have three special effects.
Set Items
An item set consists of several pieces of armor which include: helmets,
shoulder pads, pants, robes, gloves, shoes. These items can be bought from
the money-exchanger in Fragotown in exchange for a special currency called
Badges.
Set items are attached to a character only after equipping them, they can
be bought and sold through the auction as long as they’ve never been worn.
Features and prefixes in set items follow the same rules of generation as
normal items. You can also buy set items with predefined sets of secondary
stats from money-exchangers.
